Maan is an Architect (BArch, 2011) that has previously worked in the Healthcare sector and in teaching Architecture in the School of Architecture and Planning, King AbdulAziz 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂ, in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
He holds a Master degree in Façade Design and Construction (M.Eng., 2014) from Technische Hochschule Ostwestfalen-Lippe 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of Applied Science, Detmold, Germany, and is currently engaged in PhD research at the School of Architecture in the 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of Sheffield.

The effect of ambient lighting on cyclist numbers
Project outline:
This research aims to examine the effect that darkness has on cycling rates and whether road lighting can help offset any resulting deterrence.
