In this Centre for Criminological Research seminar, Dr Gilly Sharpe explores the central themes of her new book, Women, Stigma and Desistance from Crime: Precarious Identities in the Transition to Adulthood (Routledge, 2024), followed by comments and discussion by two readers, Professor Loraine Gelsthorpe (9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of Cambridge) and Dr Claire Fitzpatrick (Lancaster 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏÂ). The panel will be chaired by Professor Gwen Robinson (9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of Sheffield). The seminar will be followed by a drinks reception to celebrate the publication of Gilly's book.
