Courses
We offer a range of fully accredited degree programmes covering the broad range of Interdisciplinary Engineering. It is possible to change between these programmes up to the end of your second year. These can be studied as a three-year Bachelor’s degree (BEng) or four-year Master of Engineering (MEng), with the possibility of adding an Industrial Placement Year.
Our Industrial Advisory Board features an extensive network of the major players in Engineering including Airbus, Arm, Arup, Jaguar Land Rover, Rolls Royce, Siemens, Thales, Toyota and guides our programme design and delivery.
Accreditation
Our MEng degree programmes meet all the academic standards for Chartered Engineer (CEng) status. Our BEng will provide Incorporated Engineer (IEng) status; further learning will satisfy the requirements to achieve Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
We recognise that ability can also be demonstrated through methods other than a standard set of A-Levels or equivalent qualifications. Our Access Sheffield scheme helps ensure that everyone who has the potential to succeed in our courses has the right opportunity to do so.
