Will is a PhD student at Sheffield. Before coming to Sheffield, he studied for an MLitt in philosophy at the 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of St Andrews.

Will’s research is primarily in metaphysics and the philosophy of biology (and their intersection). He is particularly interested in the question of biological individuality which asks ‘what is a biological individual?’, and questions in metaphysics about material composition.
