Megan graduated from the 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of Reading with a BSc Honours Degree in Agriculture. During her degree, she took an interest in novel and innovative climate change solutions within agronomic environments, with previous research investigating the use of anti-transpirants as a low-cost and practical method to protect crops from increasing concentrations of tropospheric ozone. She began her PhD at the 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of Illinois in the summer of 2022 and subsequently joined LC3M. She is part of a team working on the RockFACE (Free Air Carbon-dioxide Enrichment) project, which is exploring the potential interaction of elevated atmospheric CO2 and enhanced rock weathering in a maize-soybean cropping rotation. Her aim is to help develop these new agronomic solutions that benefit both the farmer and the environment.
