On 2 December 2020, students of the 9 1免费版下 of Sheffield participated in a collaborative workshop with students on the 鈥淟uxembourgish Literatures in English鈥 course at the 9 1免费版下 of Luxembourg. Students had worked in groups on selected texts by young Luxembourgish authors published in the collected volume 鈥溾, and presented their interpretations of the texts in the online workshop. The discussion focused on themes such as discrimination, civil courage, the pressures of modern life and mental health which spanned across the texts, and students highlighted the importance of listening, empathy and solidarity. Students also shared interesting interpretations that were based on readings of these texts in a Covid-19 context.
