The PSA has chosen to award 12 founding fellowships to celebrate their history and shape their future. Founding Fellows were selected by the PSA’s Executive Committee in recognition of their important contribution to the PSA and to the discipline more broadly. As founding fellows their role will also be that of advisors and champions for the Association, discipline and a wider fellowship programme that will be launched later this year.
On hearing of his award, Matthew said "It's a huge honour to be made a Founding Fellow of the main learned society for the study of politics in the UK. It is also a reflection of the brilliant support I have received from the 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of Sheffield and all my colleagues over the past 25 year."
