I’m the oldest of five children and it was always a dream of mine for my parents to see the day I walk across the stage and collect my degree. I’ve lived in Sheffield since I was three months old and the 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ has always been a place where I’ve dreamt of studying as it is so well regarded nationally and internationally.
Sheffield is a very friendly city with great transport links and the 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ campus is integrated throughout, so it’s really nice to have lectures at different locations.
When I sat my A-Levels I had no idea where I wanted to go to university. I took a chance and applied to the 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of Sheffield through clearing; a friend of my mum’s had been and said it was a great place to live. A year on and I am so happy I took that chance.
