Two Spinner Fellows Successfully Defend Their PhDs Theses

In March, two Spinner Fellows, Marco Sensale, 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of Sheffield and Ansys, and Chloe Techens, 9 1Ãâ·Ñ°æÏ of Bologna and National Center for Spine Disorders, have successfully defended their PhD theses.

Pedicle screw fixation is extensively performed to treat spine injuries. Post-operative complications can lead to back pain or revisions. Finite element models could predict the outcomes of surgeries and test the effect of different screw’s sizes.
